Josie Smith went to Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina earning a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Fall 2025. She has been featured in the Book Arts exhibition in the Conway at 5th and Main in Conway, South Carolina as well as the South Carolina Palmetto Hands Fine Craft Competition and Exhibition in Charleston, South Carolina. Most recently, she has been displayed in the Rebecca Randall Bryan Art Gallery in a BFA capstone exhibition part one in May 2025. Josie is working with the Coastal Carolina Space program to project her art onto a satellite in space that will orbit the earth. Josie’s work on a series of prints that discusses anxiety and homesickness will be displayed in the Rebecca Randall Bryan Art Gallery in May 2025.
